Sparks, Worcester

I cannot find any references to Spark’s Records, who were on the Cathedral end of the High Street in Worcester back in the late Forties and early Fifties, judging from the look of this 78 rpm sized shop bag which I found recently.   Interestingly composer Edward Elgar lived next door as a youth for several years “above a music shop”!  This block was pulled down in the Sixties, along with huge areas of medieval Worcester in circumstances which can only be described as criminal.
