For album art fans there is always the problem of how to display sleeves. Framing is one option, and there are some nice special LP display frames around, but they are quite pricey, especially if you fancy showing off a number of covers.
I actually found it cheaper to get a local frame maker to come up with some LP sized frames, but on the whole I quite like just seeing them displayed casually in a room.
One solution is shown in this photograph, where a joiner has made a shallow mitred L shaped wooden channel, into which albums can be leaned – as well as collectable magazines as seen on the bottom shelf (though it would be better painted white).
There are some quite nice sleeves here too, the 2000 debut from Les Hommes (The Mood Is Modal) I can make out; and next to that is a 12″ by the Paul Murphy & Marc Woolford Project – Jazz Room (Remix), from 2004. Maybe someone else can let me know what Ms Sakuragi has thought worth showing off? You might be able to see a bit more detail in the second picture…
